The Department of Counseling, Psychology and Special Education in Duquesne University’s School of Education invite applications for a one-year non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor in School Psychology position. Salary and terms of appointment are commensurate with a non-tenure track position 12-month salary, vacation, and benefits package.

Responsibilities for the visiting assistant professor position primarily include face-to-face teaching in the master’s in child psychology, PsyD School Psychology, and PhD School Psychology Programs, supervision of graduate practicum and / or internship experiences, program development, and service to the University.

Qualifications: Candidates must have training relevant to school psychology. Preferred candidates currently hold school psychology certification and a license to practice psychology, have three years of experience as a professional school psychologist or a professional psychologist in relevant community settings, have a strong professional identity as a school psychologist, and have earned a doctoral degree in school psychology from an APA-accredited program. Additionally, university-level teaching and leadership experiences are favorable.
