High Plains Psychology Internship Consortium (HP-PIC, APPIC member #2406) is recruiting for Match II due to additional funding.  We have one opening at Options in Psychology, LLC in Scottsbluff, NE where an intern can work in a thriving private practice providing assessment and counseling with a one day rotation in Western Nebraska Behavioral Health. We also have an opening with the Colorado Center for Assessment and Counseling located in Fort Collins, CO which is a vibrant private practice with opportunities for assessment and counseling with child, adolescent, and adult populations.

Our consortium has developed the internship to be in alignment with the profession-wide competencies required by the APA’s Standards of Accreditation.  As such, HP-PIC provides a range of clinical and didactic experiences that represent the necessary depth and breadth required for future professional practice within rural school and clinical settings.  Applicants with a background and interest in working with children and families, as well as providing services in rural, underserved settings are a particularly good match for HP-PIC.
