Call for Applications – Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program

On June 21, the Department of Education announced the following notice for applications for a new grant opportunity, Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program, via the Federal Register. 

This is a new grant initiative that seeks to create partnerships between institutions of higher education and state/local education agencies to increase and train mental health providers in schools, including psychologists. The purpose of the partnership is to expand the workforce pipeline to address high-need schools with shortages.
