OHIO’s total enrollment is just over 36,000 students and the University has 5,300+ faculty and staff located on the main campus, seven regional campuses and centers in Southern and Central Ohio, as well as in its e-learning programs. Located in the scenic Appalachian foothills of Southeastern Ohio, its classic residential campus is one of the most attractive in the nation. The charm of treelined brick walkways on the University’s College Green makes you feel as if you are at a small college rather than a large university. Its regional campuses focus on providing access to “the national’s best transformative learning community” for students in Ohio and beyond.

The OHIO Psychology Department has 22 tenure track faculty, 5 instructors, a full-time clinic director, biostatistician, more than 50 graduate students enrolled in the clinical or experimental psychology doctoral program, and approximately 600 undergraduate majors. The department is vibrant, collaborative and productive.

The Center for Intervention Research in Schools is an internationally recognized, interdisciplinary research center that integrates training and service into all activities. Our goal is to improve the lives of children (early childhood through emerging adulthood) who struggle with emotional and behavioral challenges through school-based interventions and supports. CIRS is home to 9 highly productive faculty, representing 4 departments and 4 colleges (Arts and Science, Education, Medicine, Communications), 2 full-time staff members, 2-part time staff members, 12 graduate students, and scores of undergraduate research assistants.
