The Psychology Department within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University invites applications for an anticipated faculty position at the Assistant Professor level (tenure- track) to begin September 2020. The position is located at the University’s New York City campus in lower Manhattan.

Applicants must have an earned PhD or PsyD in School Psychology from an APA accredited training program, be eligible for school psychology certification in New York State and have New York State licensure (or eligibility). This position involves teaching courses in the following programs: MSEd in School Psychology, PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology, and PhD School Psychology. In addition, this position requires a demonstrated ability to develop a strong program of research. Applicants should be grounded in the contemporary practice of school psychology, including, experience with children’s and adolescents’ academics as well as mental health issues. The successful candidate will have experience in evidence-based practice, including cognitive behavioral interventions for children and adolescents. The specific area of expertise within school psychology is open. A commitment to ethical guidelines as well as cultural and other aspects of diversity is fundamental. Candidates with research areas focused on and/or records of service aimed at supporting marginalized/stigmatized populations are particularly desirable. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of faculty, staff and students and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity are encouraged to identify their experiences in these areas.
