The Department of Psychology of Dyson College of Pace University invites applications for an Assistant Director of the McShane Center for Psychological Services, the training clinic for the Departmental doctoral programs. The position will be at the faculty rank of Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) and will be located at the University’s campus in downtown Manhattan. The Department currently offers five graduate programs, two undergraduate programs, and a combined B.A./M.A. program.

The successful candidate must have an earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology, or a combined degree from an APA accredited training program and have New York State licensure (or eligibility). The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in an administrative capacity with developing systems, and should have experience in program development and coordination. Applicants should be grounded in the evidence-based practice of psychology which includes a multitude of modalities and approaches (e.g., cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic) for both children and adult populations. The specific area of expertise within clinical psychology is open. A commitment to ethical guidelines as well as cultural and other aspects of diversity is fundamental. The position will also involve teaching in the doctoral programs.
