“Back to School with Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction” is an 4-part, live webinar series for  physicians, advanced practice nurses, physicians assistants, nurses, behavioral health professionals (social workers, counselors, psychologists) and other allied healthcare providers. This program is a collaborative partnership between the Rome Foundation’s Gastropsych Section and Creative Healing for Youth in Pain, an online nonprofit for teens with chronic pain and their parents. Please consider joining us as this timely series kicks off on 9/9/2021!

Pediatric disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBIs; also referred to as functional gastrointestinal disorders) are common in young people. Children with DGBIs can experience pain, discomfort and bowel symptoms; for many, these symptoms disrupt their daily activities, including school. School participation also can be a source of stress that exacerbates or maintains DGBI symptoms. As students return to school, this informative and practical series will prepare healthcare providers to support healthy school adjustment as part of DGBI management.

APA-approved CE credits and AMA-approved CME credits are available, and registration for this event is now live on the Rome Foundation website: https://romefoundation.clickfunnels.com/optin1628116124461
