The School Psychology Program at Mississippi State University is excited to announce an opening for one assistant professor to join our growing program at a Research 1 Carnegie status institution! We are seeking applicants to join our full-time faculty members for a newly created tenure-track position in our APA and CAEP/NASP approved programs. We also are happy to provide a course sequence approved by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. Our program serves educational specialist and doctoral students and offers many unique training and research-driven experiences, including close partnerships with regional school districts.

We proudly house the School Psychology Services Center (SPSC), an on-site training center for assessment, intervention, and consultation hosting three separate clinics. Within the SPSC, our primary hub of services is through the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic providing applied behavior analytic services and best practices approaches to approximately 100 community members with a wide variety of needs including academic delays, behavioral concerns, social skills building, and adaptive behavioral needs. Our School Psychology Assessment Clinic provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for over 30 families within the region per year and hosts a large assessment lab. The SPSC serves as a primary research hub for faculty, as well as providing rigorous training experiences (www.schoolpsych.msstate.edu).
