Once again, we plan to offer symposia, discussions, and posters.

  • Symposia: A symposia submission should include 3-5 papers that are organized around a common theme or area of interest. Symposia should include a chair for the session and a discussant who will comment on the papers presented. Most accepted symposia will be assigned a 50-minute session. Preference will be given to symposia submissions that closely align with the conference theme
  • Discussion: In this format, presenters give briefs remarks and facilitate an interactive discussion on a common theme, issue, or question
  • Poster: Present research findings, new ideas, innovations, and advances in the profession may be shared with as many individuals as possible. Poster sessions allow presenters and attendees to engage in extended discussions regarding the author’s presentation that is in an illustrated format on a poster board

All proposals may be submitted through APA’s convention proposal portal. Available at https://convention.apa.org/
