The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DCAPBS) and its Division of Community Care and Wellness are preparing to implement its strategic goal of establishing School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) programs in Philadelphia. We are seeking a director who will be responsible for the implementation and operational oversight of the overall SBMH program strategic goal. This position will work with other DCAPBS school-based mental health experts and community partners to develop and oversee SBMH programming that addresses community partner needs and priorities. The position will be responsible for leadership and strategic planning; overseeing the development, implementation, and program evaluation of school-based clinical programming; and will play a critical role in developing and coordinating community partnerships. The individual in this position will also provide direct clinical service and clinical oversight of the SBMH team and must be a licensed mental health provider (e.g., licensed clinical psychologist, licensed school psychologist, and/or licensed clinical social worker).
