Clinical Open Rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) non-tenure-track position for Ph.D. license-eligible psychologist beginning Fall 2017 or Spring 2018.

We seek a highly-organized, knowledgeable, and outstanding Psychologist and Administrator to contribute to our APA-accredited PhD programs in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology. This individual will serve as the Director of Clinical Training and the primary contact with the American Psychological Association on matters of accreditation for the two doctoral programs. The person hired will help organize and monitor doctoral practicum experiences for the two programs and will teach two classes per semester, including practicum seminar.

The ideal candidate for this position will: (1) have a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited counseling or school psychology program; (2) be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in the State of Texas; (3) be familiar with APA accreditation requirements and demands; (4) have experience and interest in program development and evaluation; (5) have a demonstrated track record of strong clinical supervision and teaching; and (6) be familiar and comfortable working with faculty across programs. Although research is not required, for interested candidates collaborative opportunities are available within multiple research labs.

This is a full-time position and includes medical and dental benefits. Salary for the position is commensurate with experience and background. A multi-year contract is possible and expected after the successful completion of the initial year.
