Dues

Associate members, full members, and fellows of APA are eligible to become associates, members, and fellows of Div. 16. Annual dues are $60. However, we do offer a number of special discounts for first-year registrants, which are available in the registration portal.

The Professional Affiliate status is reserved for credentialed school psychologists or other psychologists who are not members of APA. Professional Affiliates can vote for all offices within Div. 16 with the exception of Representatives to Council, and they receive all divisional benefits (such as the division journal and newsletter). Annual dues are $70.

Student in School Psychology Affiliate status is open to students who are enrolled in school psychology graduate programs with the endorsement of a faculty member who is also a member of APA. Annual dues are $25.

Member Sponsorship Campaign

Division 16 is excited to announce our Member Sponsorship Campaign for 2019. Although you know the value of membership, perhaps there is someone you know – a colleague, early career professional, supervisee – who is not yet a member of the Division. As you are renewing your own commitment to the Division for 2019, we hope that you will consider “gifting” a membership to someone who is not currently a member.  As a Sponsor Member, you can purchase as many gift memberships as you wish at a discounted $20 rate.

Although the concept is simple, the results could be tremendous in terms of increasing Division engagement.  Giving a membership provides the recipient with access to all Division 16 resources such as The School PsychologistSchool Psychology, and members-only listservs. More importantly, however, it shows your support of that person’s professional development and helps to bring more supporters of school psychology to the table.

To join in the Member Sponsorship Campaign and give the gift of membership to someone you know, please find the required form here.
