The School of Education at Duquesne University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor of School Psychology. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in APA-accredited/NASP-approved School Psychology PhD and PsyD programs, supervising field-based experiences, supervising PsyD Applied Projects, and engaging in service to the program, university, and profession. Salary will be determined commensurate with years of experience and ability to bring additional dimensions to the current complement of faculty.

Qualifications

  • Earned doctoral degree in School Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Eligible to become a PA-licensed psychologist and a PA-certified school psychologist.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise practicum experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach graduate school psychology courses.
  • Commitment to engaging in service to the program, School of Education, university, and profession.
  • The School is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their teaching and service activities, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
