The school psychology program is pleased to announce a tenure-track assistant or associate professor position for our NASP-accredited Ed.S. and Ph.D. School Psychology programs. The program prides itself on their team-based approach to mentoring students and providing instruction and experiences to teach the comprehensive role of a school psychologist. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses, providing advising and dissertation direction, supervising practicum students, conducting research, and applying for external funding. The program was recently awarded a $3 million Mental Health Demonstration Grant to address the shortage of school psychologists in South Dakota. This individual has the opportunity to join our dynamic team in implementing this program. Additional teaching assignments may be made based on professional and academic background and the needs of the Division. Faculty members are expected to make contributions in teaching, research, and service, including mentoring students in and out of the classroom. You may be required to provide instruction via face-to-face, on-line, or a combination of delivery methods. Start date for this position is August 22, 2024.
