The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health is hiring full time clinical professor faculty who serve as the essential link between teaching and practice at the Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health. Clinical professor faculty are partners in delivering instruction, supervision of students, and the modeling and training of the child behavioral health specialist role within K12 schools, health care systems, and other community settings. Clinical professor faculty work in coordination with training site staff to deliver evidence-based interventions to promote well-being and prevent mental health problems from developing and worsening in children and adolescents. The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health at the University of Oregon Portland establishes a new national model for behavioral healthcare for children and families by creating the nation’s first undergraduate program in child behavioral health.
