The Publications and Communications (P&C) Board of the American Psychological Association (APA) has opened nominations for the editorship of Behavior Analysis: Research and Practice for the years 2026-2031.  Joel E. Ringdahl, Ph.D., is the incumbent Editor.

Behavior Analysis: Research and Practice is a multidisciplinary journal committed to increasing the communication between the subdisciplines within behavior analysis and psychology, and bringing up-to-date information on current developments within the field. It publishes original research, reviews of the discipline, theoretical and conceptual work, applied research, translational research, program descriptions, research in organizations and the community, clinical work, and curricular developments.

Candidates should be available to start receiving manuscripts in early 2025 to prepare for issues published in 2026. Please note that the P&C Board encourages participation by members of underrepresented groups in the publication process and would particularly welcome such nominees. Self-nominations are also encouraged.

Michael C. Roberts, Ph.D., ABPP, will chair the search.

Nominate candidates through APA’s Editor Search website. Prepared statements of one page or less in support of a nominee can also be submitted by email to Mare Meadows (Associate Publisher, APA Journals) at mmeadows@apa.org.

The deadline for accepting nominations is January 8, 2024, when reviews will begin.
