The Missouri Prevention Science Institute is recruiting for two full-time senior research associates to help coordinate several large-scale school-based group randomized trials to evaluate the efficacy of educational interventions.

Responsibilities:

The individuals filling these positions will be responsible for assisting with overall project coordination under the supervision of the project directors. The primary responsibility will be to prepare research sites for all aspects of the study (i.e., secure agreement to participate, support data collection and logistical management).

The key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising research assistants in implementing all regulations and requirements.
  • Supporting implementation of educational interventions including teacher-delivered and whole school interventions.
  • Assist with all aspects of data collection including collection survey and ongoing fidelity data
  • Monitor all aspects of IRB application and compliance.
  • Attend regular project planning meetings
  • Prepare research reports, conference presentations, and other dissemination activities related to center research activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by Principal Investigator.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in psychology, education, public policy or a related field at the time of the appointment.

Candidates will be evaluated on the following:

Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in working with diverse educational groups on outreach or research. Candidates will be evaluated on the following: Experience with educational and behavioral research methods. Experience coordinating or helping conduct large randomized clinical trials or other research projects. Experience with data management.
