Division 16 is very pleased to announce the 2015 awardees through the Grant Program for School Psychology Internships (GPSPI).
Division 16 launched the GPSPI late last year to assist in addressing the predoctoral internship crisis in the U.S. The GPSPI is supported by Division 16, CDSPP, NASP, and Trainers of School Psychologists (TSP), and its primary aim is to provide funds and consultation for developing new APPIC School Psychology Internship Programs that will eventually obtain APA Accreditation.
Internship programs that accept doctoral students from more than one doctoral program are preferred (non-captive programs). The GPSPI also provides funds and consultation for expanding existing APPIC School Psychology Internship Programs that will eventually obtain APA Accreditation.
If you are interested in learning more about the GPSPI or submitting an application for the next round of funding, please see: http://www.apadivisions.
Congratulations to the 2015 GPSPI-Funded Programs (University-School-Community Partnerships)!
