Department of Advanced Studies in Psychology
Psychology – to teach courses in both the Psy.D. program in combined School and Clinical Psychology and the Master’s/Professional Diploma Program in School Psychology. Other duties include, but are not limited to: mentoring graduate students in School and Clinical Psychology; directing dissertations; and supervising clinical practica in the Department’s training clinic. Preference will be given to a candidate who possesses a strong evidence-based philosophy, cognitive behavioral or related orientation, an ongoing program of research as demonstrated by peer reviewed publications and national conference presentations and potential for extramural funding.
Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Clinical, School, or combined School and Clinical Psychology is required. Clinical and/or research interests in the areas of clinical child psychology, school psychology, pediatric-health psychology (e.g., school-based health promotion or prevention models), or treatment and assessment of underserved populations is preferred.
