The Center for Benefit-Cost Studies of Education (CBCSE) at Teachers College, Columbia University is offering a free training program for researchers and evaluators on applying cost-effectiveness and benefit-cost analysis to educational policies and programs.

This program will combine an onsite workshop with virtual sessions. Professors Henry Levin and Clive Belfield, experts in the field and co-directors of CBCSE, will lead the training program.

The program, Methods Training for Research Using Cost-Effectiveness and Cost-Benefit Analysis, is funded by an Institute of Education Sciences methods training grant. The workshop will be held from August 24, 2015 – August 28, 2015 at Teachers College, Columbia University and will include 3 subsequent days of virtual training and participant presentations.

The application deadline is Monday, June 1, 2015. The review of applications will begin the next day and will continue until all participant slots are filled.
