The Department of Educational Psychology, University of Alberta, invites applications for a tenure- track Assistant Professor position in the area of School and Clinical Child Psychology (SCCP), focusing on children and adolescents in school, clinical and community settings.
Applicants must have a doctorate from a major research university and be eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Applicants should have education and professional experience in (a) school psychology or (b) clinical child psychology; a record of, or potential for, scholarly contribution in one or more of these areas; and, evidence of ability to provide high quality undergraduate and graduate-level teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise graduate students and involve them in their program of research. Full consideration will be given to all applicants. Applicants who are graduates of a CPA or APA accredited program and who have strong foundational knowledge in child/adolescent intervention are especially encouraged.
