Fellows in the Autism and Developmental Disabilities program will complete one year (2000 hours) of supervised and advanced training in child assessment, evidence-based treatments (Applied Behavioral Analysis), research, and interdisciplinary team approaches in the field of Developmental Disabilities. Additional responsibilities will include supervision of psychology trainees, participation in didactic learning experiences, scholarly presentations, and possible program development.

The fellowship will focus on services to children between the ages of 2 and 10 years, as well as their caregivers and families. Primary or secondary diagnoses typically include Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and Disruptive Behavior Disorders, although services are also provided to children with internalizing disorders. The typical population served is diverse in ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and geographic location (e.g., urban and rural).
