The Counselor Education and School Psychology Department of Plymouth State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in School Psychology at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August, 2016. Teaching during the summer term is available for additional compensation.

Our program focuses on the development of skills necessary to implement interventions designed to transform individuals and systems. The successful applicant will teach school psychology courses within a scientist-practitioner framework to include assessment, consultation and collaboration, and evidence-based interventions. The program is committed to preparing professionals who have expertise in education and psychology, who function as both mental health specialists and instructional specialists, and who provide data-driven, evidence-based, and culturally-responsive services to children and their families.
The Department of Counselor Education and School Psychology offers Master’s degrees, Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study, and professional certification programs. Degrees in school psychology, school counseling, clinical mental health counseling, couples and family therapy, human relations, and personal and organizational wellness are available. The Department also offers certificate programs in play therapy, and addictions.
