I am writing to you as the Editor of Journal of Educational and Psychological Consultation to encourage you to submit an article and/or theme issue proposal to our journal. Published by Taylor and Francis and cited in all the major publishing indexes and databases, JEPC is an interdisciplinary, international journal centered on consultation theory and practice. As Editor, I am committed to publishing work that represents all research methodologies—quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. While most of our published articles reflect work conducted in the US, consultation scholarship from outside the US is very welcome and desired. Additionally, I am particularly drawn to innovative research in understudied areas, such as work that speaks to different elements of cultural responsiveness and social justice.

Until the end of the June 2016 all of the articles in our “Most Read” and “Most Cited” collection are available for free download. These articles provide examples of some the high quality of contributions that are common to JEPC. To access this collection, please go to JEPC’s webpage at www.tandfonline.com/HEPC and click on the righthand column.

As JEPC’s article collection and impact factor continues to expand, I strongly encourage you to submit an article by going to https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jepc. All original manuscripts are peer-reviewed and our typical turn-around time is 2-3 months.  We make a great effort to provide thorough and respectful feedback. Even if your manuscript is turned down, our aim is for all authors to leave the review process feeling that their work has been improved.

Additionally, I am seeking to accept a few theme issue proposals over the next few months. If you have a theme issue idea and/or have any questions for the Editor about anything, please contact me at dshribe@luc.edu.

Sincerely,

Dave Shriberg, Editor, Journal of Educational and Psychological Consultation
