Job Description/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses that could include Child Psychology, Capstone Seminar in Psychology, and Careers in Psychology, as well as various graduate courses in the Clinical Child and School Psychology graduate program that could include Cognitive Assessment, Child Psychopathology, and Counseling with Children and Adolescents. The candidate is expected to maintain scholarly productivity and provide service to the department, school, university, community, and profession. Other responsibilities include supervision of theses and advising graduate students. Summer assignments may be available depending upon enrollment and funding.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have an earned doctorate in School Psychology, Clinical Child Psychology, or a closely related field by August 21st, 2017.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates may be given preference for the following:
1) having earned a doctorate degree from a NASP Accredited and/or APA approved program,
2) having experience teaching relevant courses with positive student evaluations,
3) having an established line of research in the field of clinical child or school psychology as evidenced by relevant scholarly products.
