TWU’s Department of Psychology and Philosophy invites applicants for an Assistant/Associate Professor tenure-track position beginning August, 2017. The selected candidate will assume research and teaching responsibilities within both the APA accredited and NASP approved Doctoral School Psychology Program and the NASP approved Specialist School Psychology program. They will also contribute to the undergraduate program. A doctorate from an appropriately accredited institution is required, preferably from an APA-accredited program. Review of applications will begin October 15, 2016 and continue until position is filled.
Successful applicants will demonstrate or have a strong potential for an active research program and extramural funding. Preferred candidates will have research or practice interest related to intervention, consultation, supervision, prevention and mental health promotion, and will be eligible for Texas Psychology Board licensure. Research, publication and working with doctoral students are expected. Additionally, service to the university, community and profession is expected.
