The Department of Behavioral Psychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute is currently seeking a licensed psychologist to provide outpatient clinical services to a diverse pediatric patient population of children from birth through 12 years of age. Staff members within the Behavior Management Clinic provide assessment and treatment services to children with emotional and behavioral disorders. Responsibilities include: assessment and treatment of childhood behavior problems; administrative duties related to clinical service delivery; development, recruitment, and implementation related to group therapy services.
Required qualifications include:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or School Psychology
- training and experience in applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, child psychology, and developmental psychology
- licensure in Maryland
- at least three years’ experience applying behavioral and cognitive behavioral methods with children
- PCIT certified therapist preferred or interest in PCIT training and certification
- prior child and parent group experience preferred
- school consultation knowledge and experience preferred
- ability to collaborate with professionals from other disciplines
- prior experience supervising trainees and/or staff highly preferred
- clinical research interest/experience preferred.
