Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking full-time school psychologists to provide a full range of services in a large urban school district with many opportunities to include, but not limited to, counseling and behavioral intervention, assessment for educational planning and placement, consultation with staff, parents, and community-based service providers, and FBA and BIP development.

School Psychology staff in City Schools’ are involved with designated projects that are districtwide such as the FBA-BIP team providing training and consultation to schools, PIEL Team (Prevention and Intervention for Early Learners); Early Learning Office consultant, and, Student Support Prevention and Intervention Office consultant. Staff are being trained in trauma informed CBT as part of a grant. Other opportunities exist. There are 5 to 6 days of professional development included for staff with new staff receiving once monthly meetings for professional development.

Positions are 10 months.  Applicants must hold a 60-hour master level degree or doctoral degree in school psychology and have satisfactorily completed a full-time internship and passed the Praxis exam.
