William James College, located just west of Boston, is seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor for its dynamic and innovative School Psychology programs. The School Psychology Department offers both specialist (MA/CAGS) and doctoral (PsyD) level degrees in School Psychology, as well as a MA in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Graduate Certificate in School Climate and Social Emotional Learning. The school psychology curriculum incorporates rigorous academic instruction with supervised field training in a variety of settings. The William James College mission features core values of experiential education, social responsibility, and personal growth. The school psychology programs emphasize prevention, mental health, and system-level impact. Teaching and mentoring students are of primary importance, and faculty salaries are competitive.

Candidates will be Licensed (or license-eligible) Psychologists, and hold a doctoral degree in school psychology. The ideal candidate has a professional affiliation with the field of school psychology, and has relevant school-based field experience, demonstrated skill in higher education teaching, and substantial scholarship competencies and interests. Teaching responsibilities may include psychoeducational assessment, instructional assessment, advanced research methods, learning disabilities, cognitive and affective development, diversity and cross-cultural psychology, and/or clinical seminars. Candidates with relevant leadership experience and interest may also have the opportunity to serve as Director of the School Psychology PsyD Program.
