APA Division 16 Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEMA) seeks to address issues related to ethnic minority affairs within school psychology. Current initiatives are related to recruitment and retention of minority graduate students and faculty in the field. Division 16 CEMA is currently accepting applications for two new committee members.

Eligible candidates for these positions must be current members of Division 16. The selected individuals will begin to serve in January 2018 for a one-year, potentially renewable commitment.

The responsibilities of each position are described below.

Committee Member :

  • Attending monthly conference calls
  • Spearheading and supporting committee initiatives
  • Contributing to scholarly works related to ethnic minority issues in School Psychology
  • Participating in Division 16 CEMA sponsored events
  • Assist with Division16 programming at APA annual convention
