The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking candidates for several academic positions. Rutgers University‐New Brunswick is a research one university located a few miles from New York City. The PsyD programs in Clinical and School Psychology has been continuously accredited by the American Psychological Association since the school’s inception. GSAPP also offers a Master’s program in Applied Psychology with several concentrations including Alcohol Studies and Applied Behavioral Analysis. The School has five centers: Center for Psychological Services, Rutgers Center for Adults Autism Services, Center for Applied Psychology, Douglass Developmental Disability Center and the Center of Alcohol Studies. Assistant/Associate Dean of Academic and Faculty Affairs

The Associate Dean reports to the Dean and assists in meeting the academic vision for the school related to student success, faculty engagement, and program development. The Associate Dean provides leadership, oversight, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation and coordination of academic programs. This position is a Calendar‐Year faculty position beginning as soon as the position is filled. The position could be Tenure Track or Non‐Tenure track.

Psychodynamically Oriented Assistant Professor (Tenure Track)

The Clinical Psychology Department in the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University‐New Brunswick invites applications for a tenured/tenure‐track appointment for Fall 2018. A core requirement is an ability to teach, supervise, and develop graduate level training models for psychodynamic psychotherapy (broadly defined). We are especially interested in someone with a record of empirical psychodynamic research. Candidates with particularly outstanding records whose research focuses on areas of clinical psychology unrelated to psychodynamic psychotherapy may be considered if they also have experience and demonstrated competence in training psychodynamic clinicians. The department intends to hire someone at the Assistant Professor rank but is open to exceptionally qualified candidates at other ranks. Faculty with Expertise in Substance Use Disorders
