Overview: The School Psychology program, housed in the Department of Special Education, Rehabiltation and Counseling is an Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) program inclusive of the California PPS credential in School Psychology. We are seeking energetic and innovative applicants for a tenure-track, open rank professor in School Psychology to provide leadership in teaching, research and National Association of School Psychology (NASP) accreditation. Bi-lingual applicants and those with multi-cultural experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in the evenings, practicum and fieldwork supervision, scholarly activity, curriculum development, and service to the university and community. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be required to teach a range of courses in  counseling and school psychology.

Qualifications for the position include: a doctoral degree in school psychology or a closely related discipline, doctoral students graduating by August 31, 2018 will be considered; successful experience in higher education teaching; experience in school psychology; experience in service learning and student fieldwork supervision.

Candidates with a California PPS credential and/or eligibility for the California PPS credential in School Psychology will be preferred. Evidence of scholarly activity and innovation in teaching is valued, as is a demonstrated commitment to social justice and diversity issues.
