The Department of Education Sciences and Professional Programs in the College of Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of School Psychology beginning August 2018. This is an exciting opportunity to influence educational practices in a large metropolitan area and the State of Missouri through our NASP-Approved School Psychology Program and collaboration with our other educator preparation programs. The College of Education has a strong commitment to community partnership, and we seek a faculty member dedicated to this mission.

The UMSL School Psychology Program emphasizes prevention science, problem-solving consultation, social justice, and culturally-responsive practice with growing attention to the promotion of mental/behavioral health services in schools. Job responsibilities include providing strong teaching, maintaining a focused research program, and delivering quality student advisement and university service. Though the area of specialty within school psychology is open, preference will be given to Nationally Certified School Psychologists who have Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Additional needs of the department include expertise in academic interventions, developmental psychology, and research methodology.

Requirements:
A completed doctorate in school psychology is required.
