Qualifications and Experience: Required – Earned doctorate from an APA-Accredited or NASP-approved program in School Psychology (or closely related field) by September 1, 2018; evidence of scholarly potential; licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in Colorado, and experience working with ethnically/culturally diverse groups; Preferred – University teaching experience, involvement in APA/NASP/state association; experience in K-12 school setting; commitment to diversity and social justice as evidenced by experience, research, or service, and potential for securing external funding.

Position Description: This is a full-time, tenure track position in the School Psychology Program located in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). Responsibilities include: teaching a variety of graduate courses that may include psychological or educational consultation, academic or mental health interventions, assessment, childhood development, and supervision of field experiences for the Ed.S. and Ph.D. students; conducting research aligned with the field of school psychology; advising specialist and doctoral students, including advising/directing dissertations and other student research; assisting in the recruitment and retention of a diverse student population; participating in University and community service; and writing grants for external funding.

Salary and Benefits: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Summer employment and other teaching opportunities may be available. The starting date is August 15, 2018.
