Job Description

The School of Education (SOE) invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty member, at the rank of Associate or Professor, interested in teaching graduate courses and serving as director of the School Psychology Program beginning fall 2018. Responsibilities of the director include administering and coordinating the program as well as facilitating national approval. Additional responsibilities include advising and active participation in University, Departmental, and School committees. We seek a candidate who will complement and possibly expand our strengths in areas that support the institutional mission of educating students for lives of leadership and service for the common good.

 Required Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in School Psychology or related area.
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in leading peers on a project on a long-term basis as part of shared leadership for a program and school.
  • Evidence of effective, collaborative leadership.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence.
  • A strong and ongoing record of scholarly accomplishments and service.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate a vision for the program especially the development of a doctoral level strand.
