The Austin Psychology & Assessment Center (or ApaCenter – www.ApaCenter.com) has an opening for a postdoctoral resident beginning between July-September of 2018.

The student must have his/her dissertation completed. Students with a strong background in administering comprehensive psychological evaluations to all age ranges are preferred, but experience conducting assessments of school-aged children and adolescents is required. Qualified post-doctoral students will also have experience conducting individual psychotherapy, preferably with a broad range of ages and clientele. Special expertise in areas such as parent training, family therapy, neuropsychological assessments, school-based assessments, autism spectrum disorders, and/or ADHD interventions would be beneficial. The position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week and will include supervision by Licensed Psychologists who are also Licensed Specialists in School Psychology. There is a possibility that a part-time position would be available, so candidates who prefer that option should still apply. The postdoctoral resident will have the opportunity to participate in monthly didactics and weekly case conferences and group supervision. Salary is competitive.
