The Minnesota School Psychology Internship Consortium has three internship openings for the 2018-2019 school year. All sites provide experience with traditional assessment as well as tiered service delivery. Site specific responsibilities will also include counseling, community- school collaboration development, teacher consultation, and parent collaboration. Consortium supervision and training will focus on development of resilience as a student service provider as well as evidence-based practices to support the implementation of MTSS. This consortium has been developed to meet training requirements of doctoral school psychology interns from APA-approved programs, and aligns with APA and CDSPP internship guidelines. At this time we also accept applications from Educational Specialist Certificate intern candidates from NASP-approved programs.
2018-2019 sites include:
- Twin Cities German Immersion School: K-8 German Immersion in St. Paul, MN
- Laura Jeffrey Academy: Girl-focused charter middle school in St. Paul, MN.
- KIPP North Star Academy/Lakes International Language Academy: two-site collaboration between an urban K-8 charter school and a suburban language immersion (Spanish or Mandarin Chinese) school.
