Pace University-NYC is pleased to announce the position of Director of the McShane Center for Psychological Services, anticipated beginning Sept. 1, 2018. The McShane Center is the training site for the Pace University-NYC doctoral psychology training programs (APA accredited Psy.D. program in School-Clinical Child Psychology and two new proposed Ph.D. programs). The McShane Center has three primary goals: training, the provision of psychological services, and research. The Director of the McShane Center is responsible for this community mental health center and works closely with the Psychology Department Chairperson, the doctoral Program Director, the Director of Practicum training, and the McShane Center Advisory Board. Depending on experience and expertise, a clinical teaching appointment is anticipated with this position.
The Search Committee invites applications and nominations for individuals to be considered for the McShane Center Director position. Interested individuals need to have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree in psychology, NYS license as a psychologist or eligible for NYS psychologist licensure, appropriate experience as a supervisor, an interest in all aspects of diversity, skills in working within systems, and professional goals which are consistent with the McShane Center.
