The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY announces a Visiting Assistant Professor position in APA-accredited and NASP-approved School Psychology program. This is a full-time (9 month) appointment to begin August 2018. Salary range is competitive. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses, supervise practicum students, advise specialist students, and serve as a resource to the program.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise and interest in teaching academic skill assessment and intervention, professional practices of school psychologists, psychopathology, and supervision of school psychology practicum. The program has a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and multi-cultural competence. A doctorate in School Psychology or anticipated by August 2018 or ABD from an APA accredited program is required. Evidence of scholarly achievement and/or engagement is preferred. Licensure as a school psychologist and/or psychologist is desirable.
