Description:
Seeking applicants for full-time and part-time, MD certified School Psychologists.
Must have excellent skills and knowledge working with students with emotional/behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and/or intellectual limitations.
Assess and develop effective academic and behavioral interventions (specifically experience and skill in conducting functional behavioral assessment and developing meaningful behavioral plans are critical to this role).
Provide family and staff consultation.
Must be prepared to become a member of an established professional
learning community and participate in multidisciplinary decision-making.
Thorough knowledge of assessment and interpretation; best practices; federal and state law.
Thorough knowledge of special education and 504 eligibility requirements.
Ability to use computer and other technology to write psychological assessment reports and assist in development of IEP goals and objectives.
