The Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, assistant professor position, as well as an associate or full professor position, in School Psychology. These are nine-month appointments, effective August 16, 2019.

The faculty members will teach graduate courses such as social-emotional assessment, cognitive assessment, legal/ethical issues, school consultation and/or school-based interventions; provide clinical supervision and practicum training to graduate students; and maintain an active research program with evidence of and continued potential for extramural funding. The associate or full professor position will also serve in a faculty rotation as Program Chair for the School Psychology Ph.D. and Ed.S. programs.

Candidates must have completed an earned Ph.D. in School Psychology or closely related field, such as Child Clinical Psychology. Ideal candidates will provide evidence of successful teaching and ability to effectively mentor and supervise graduate level students in research and clinical responsibilities Preference will be given to candidates who are certified school psychologists and licensed psychologists.
