The College of Education at Temple University seeks a dynamic and innovative scholar to join an energetic faculty with wide-ranging educational research expertise beginning in August 2019. The compelling candidate will lead an influential program of research with an established record of publications and external funding in an education-related field, including but not limited to: teacher preparation; mental health in education (e.g., school, counseling, or clinical psychology); or teaching and/or learning in language and literacy, social studies, special education, or STEM at the elementary, middle, or secondary school level.  In addition to maintaining an active program of research, the responsibilities of the position include teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses, advising master’s and doctoral students, and participating in department, college, and professional service activities.  The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive salary and generous research start-up funds commensurate with his or her standing in the field.
