Clinical Fellowship: The Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) announces a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical child psychology with a focus on assessment at the Learning and Emotional Assessment Program (LEAP).  The fellowship program seeks to foster the development of doctoral level psychologists from APA-accredited graduate programs and internships in their professional careers as clinical specialists, educators, and research collaborators in academic health science settings.  The LEAP program provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessments for children ages 2-22 who present with a wide range of complex learning, developmental, social-emotional, and behavioral concerns, including learning disabilities, ADHD, autism-spectrum disorders, medical and genetic conditions, discipline and behavior problems, and psychiatric disorders.  There are also opportunities to engage in consultative services to schools, parents, and referring physicians and to be involved in clinical research at LEAP.

Details: The fellowship is a one year, full-time training experience, with an option to extend to a second year depending on funding and complementary fellow/program interests. The fellowship begins on September 1, 2019. Fellows hold clinical appointments in the MGH Department of Psychiatry and academic appointments in the Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry.  Salary rates for fellows are $45,000.  Additionally, fellows are provided with a standard employee benefits package that includes 20 days of paid vacation and partially paid medical and dental plan options.  MGH is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
