The School of Education (SOE) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor of School Psychology.
Required Qualifications: A Ph.D., Ed.D, and/or Psy.D in School Psychology or related area; graduation from a NASP-approved program; established record of experience working with children, adolescents, and families; demonstrated interest in serving as a mentor to students seeking advanced degrees in school psychology; evidence of effective, collaborative engagement; an emerging record of scholarly accomplishments and service; and a demonstrated ability and interest in leading peers on a project on a long-term basis as part of a shared leadership for a program and school.
Preferred Qualifications: Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in WA State; graduation from an APA-accredited program; demonstrated ability to collaborate with community stakeholders; holds or eligible to hold NCSP credential; experience working within a K-12 educational system; and evidence of teaching excellence
