APA is seeking your input on a regulatory notice from The Department of Education regarding data collection on allocation of federal funding in K-12 schools. The study will plan to analyze Part A of Title I, II, III, and IV of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and Title I, Part B of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. The full regulatory notice can be found here.

The American Psychological Association plans to gather comments and provide input to the Department. Specifically, the Department is interested in addressing the following:

(1) Is this collection necessary to the proper functions of the Department; (2) will this information be processed and used in a timely manner; (3) is the estimate of burden accurate; (4) how might the Department enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and (5) how might the Department minimize the burden of this collection on the respondents, including through the use of information technology.
