The AMENA-Psy Student Committee is excited to announce a webinar on Radical Healing in Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) populations. Radical healing incorporates social justice into psychological healing and addresses the root causes of identity-based “wounds” and trauma. Radical healing engages the general and culture-specific practices of the community that promotes resilience. Given the current state of affairs in the US and the world, we hope to share a space for MENA students to connect, empower one another, and work towards healing.

Please see the official “Communi-Tea Time” flyer (linked here) and distribute it to your respective programs, organizations, or anyone you believe would be interested. The webinar will take place on Saturday, April 25th from 1:00 – 2:30 pm EST.

The webinar is intended for current graduate or undergraduate psychology students who identify with Arab/MENA identities/cultures/heritages. AMENA-Psy, as well as non-AMENA-Psy members, are encouraged to attend.
