Department of Advanced Studies in Psychology

The Department of Advanced Studies in Psychology houses both the Masters/Professional Diploma program in School Psychology (NASP accredited) and the School and Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program (PSYD; APA and NASP accredited). Our department seeks to promote equity and further diversify our faculty and training experiences for our students through involvement with the Equity in Action Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship. Our hope is to host, support and mentor a post-doctoral fellow. We plan to work with the successful candidate to tailor their experience. In addition to teaching and research, opportunities may be available through the Kean Counseling Center and/or Kean Psychological Services to accrue post-doctoral clinical training experience for licensure. Candidates with the necessary training and desire to teach in the Professional Diploma/Masters’ program in School Psychology are preferred.

Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis through January 15, 2021. Interviews and offers will be made through March 1, 2021. Start dates may begin as early as July 2021, but no later than September 1, 2021.
