JOB SUMMARY:
The Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology seeks to enhance its roster of faculty through the addition of a lecturer with strong knowledge of both clinical psychology, assessment and biological psychology. Applicants for this non-tenure, three-year renewable lecture position must have a PhD and will begin teaching in Fall 2021. We are seeking candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching students from diverse cultural background.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Candidates will be expected to teach eight courses per year at the graduate level including biological psychology, cognitive and affective bases of behavior, psychological and neuropsychological testing, and if needed develop a course in his/her area of expertise. Advising and mentoring of students may be required as well as service to the school and university as determined by the Dean.
2. This position will contribute to our MA and doctoral programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Candidates with a strong background in clinical psychology, assessment, neuropsychology and biological psychology will be considered.
2. Priority will be given to individuals with teaching experience in the following areas: biological, cognitive and affective bases of behavior, psychological and neuropsychological testing.
3. Experience Interacting with Diverse Populations and/or Students of Color.
