PI Julie S. Owens, Ph.D., and Co-PI Steven W. Evans, Ph.D., Co-Directors of the Center for Intervention Research in Schools (www.oucirs.org) invite applications for a Senior Research Associate who has experience engaging in problem solving consultation/coaching with teachers. The Associate will play a leadership role in a randomized controlled trial funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) evaluating two models of coaching and implementation supports for teachers’ use of universal and targeted classroom interventions for elementary school students. The Associate will work in schools providing project-based consultation/coaching, supervising graduate students and staff, assisting with project management, and will have the opportunity to publish manuscripts (if desired).
Candidates must have a Master’s degree by the start date of the position and at least one year of work-related experience. Training and experience in problem solving consultation with teachers is preferred. The projected start date for this position is June or July of 2021. The Associate will work in elementary schools in Southeastern and Central Ohio.
