The Reservoir Group is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) who is eager to support students at The Lab School and in the surrounding community.
The Lab School of Washington is an independent, progressive, arts-based school that serves students in grades 1 through 12 with diagnosed language-based learning differences on two campuses in Northwest Washington, DC. Job responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and/or
- Psychotherapy with individual and groups of school-aged clients and their families
- Consulting with teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists
- Supporting students’ social and emotional functioning in school and outpatient settings
Psychotherapy and assessment supervision are provided, and the applicant will have access to consultation from both mental health clinicians as well as providers from other disciplines. Opportunities are available for additional outpatient work as well as professional development.
Ideal candidates:
- 2+ years of post-doctoral clinical experience
- Strong skills working with children and adolescents, particularly those with learning differences
- Excellent collaborative work skills
- Independence in a dynamic learning environment.
- Strong skill and interest in supporting students from a perspective of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
